Beeline launches mobile safety line

Beeline has launched an IVR service that educates subscribers about how to avoid becoming victims of mobile scams that are highly popular among fraudsters in Russia.
The helpline is available to all Beeline subscribers in Russia with its own short number, and is also accessible from the main support line.
“The launch of this new information service, which explains in simple terms how to avoid being scammed, is a new initiative under the social programme ‘Mobile Competence’,” commented Vladislav Teryekhin, director of safety in Russia. “We hope this new service will help our subscribers to recognise fraudsters, to keep their money safe and to stay happy.”
