VimpelCom brings Beeline to Vietnam

On July 20th, VimpelCom announced the launch of a mobile network in Vietnam under the Beeline brand with the participation of Russian-Vietnamese joint venture GTEL-Mobile.
The Vietnamese Beeline network will initially be available in the major provinces of Hannoi, Ho Chi Minh and Danang.
By the end of 2009, GTEL-Mobile plans to cover more than 40 provinces encompassing a population of around 41 million.
At first launch, the Beeline dealer network comprises over 7,000 points of sale. Offices and service centres will be opened in 2010.
